De Bethune has unveiled the DB25 Digitale at Geneva Watch Days 2026, a poetic reinterpretation of its emblematic digital display. Following in the footsteps of the Maison’s emblematic DBD model, this new creation revisits digital time displays through a contemplative, hand-free architectural design.
Inspired by the nocturnal imagery of starlit skies and moonlit rivers, the watch combines artistry with horological innovation. The DB25 Digitale replaces conventional watch hands with a concentric, triple-indication layout driven by an internal micro ball-bearing mechanism. Time is read through a jumping-hour window at 12 o'clock and an analogue rotating minute disc at 6 o'clock.
Constructed from 82 distinct elements, the dial mimics a tranquil nocturnal landscape beneath a starlit sky. It pairs traditional hand-guilloché barleycorn motifs along the outer silvered minute track with an inner disc executed in blued titanium featuring De Bethune’s proprietary random guilloché finish. Positioned at the very center of the display is De Bethune’s signature spherical moon-phase indicator, crafted from two polished hemispheres of palladium and flame-blued steel. Inclined at 60 degrees, the spherical moon is engineered with mechanical precision that requires a correction of only one lunar day every 1,112 years.
Housed in a 42mm mirror-polished Grade 5 titanium case measuring 11.9mm thick, the watch features slender, openworked "bullet" lugs and a screw-down sapphire exhibition caseback. Visible within is the third-generation in-house Calibre DB2144V3, a hand-wound movement comprising 416 components and 32 rubies.
