Quectel SH602FA and SE505FE smart modules bring Android 16 to 4G LTE and 5G IoT devices

Quectel has just introduced the SH602FA 4G LTE Cat 4 and SE505FE 5G Sub-6 GHz Android 16-smart IoT modules. Both integrate octa-core MediaTek processors, cellular connectivity, wireless interfaces, and multimedia functions for devices such as smart displays, point-of-sale terminals, industrial handhelds, and robots. The “high-performance” 4G LTE SH602FA module is built around the MediaTek MT8786 Cortex-A75/A55 processor, while the “entry-level” 5G SE505FE module is powered by a MediaTek MT8863T Cortex-A76/A55 SoC. Both modules are available in multiple regional variants, as well as a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-only “-WF” variant.
