Framework Laptop 12 repairable, convertible laptop gets Wildcat Lake motherboard, ships with Fedora 44 or Windows 11

First introduced in 2025, the Framework Laptop 12 upgradable and repairable laptop has just gotten a new motherboard offered with a choice of Wildcat Lake (Intel Core Series 3) processors from the Core 3 304 up to the Core 7 350. The Wildcat Lake-based convertible Laptop 12 features a 12.2-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution, a SO-DIMM slot supporting up to 64GB DDR5, an M.2 2230 NVMe SSD slot, and high-speed connectivity with Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 7, and more.
