Serving as the official opening event for the third annual Hong Kong Fashion Fest, the immersive showcase transformed the museum into a cross-cultural stage framed by four architectural arches — ranging from a traditional Chinese courtyard to neoclassical and Franco-Vietnamese designs. Designed to solidify Hong Kong’s position as an international hub for haute couture, the event attracted global fashion figures, industry leaders and local celebrities including Louise Wong Susie Lau, Irene Kim and Hanan Besovic.
The runway presentations brought together four emerging and established couture brands from Hong Kong, Spain and Vietnam, delivering a collective showing of 40 bespoke looks worn by international supermodel Christina Chung and a diverse cast. Representing Spain, Guillermo Décimo - led by Guillermo Díez López, who refined his techniques at the Museo Balenciaga - presented hand-crafted creations celebrating theatricality, heritage and slow fashion. Vietnam’s Phan Huy, who recently made history as the youngest Vietnamese designer on the official Paris Haute Couture Week calendar, showcased intricate silk weaving, traditional hand-embroidery, and modern 3D draping.
Rounding out the lineup were two Hong Kong-based labels offering distinct interpretations of modern couture. Tigerstrolling Artisanal, founded in 2025 by Tiger Chung (Chung Tsz-ho and Chung Ka-ching), delivered deconstructed tailoring, unconventional proportions, and upcycled materials that bridged everyday object subversion with high-fashion technique. Meanwhile, Vivian Luk Atelier - founded by former Vera Wang designer Vivian Luk - focused on sculptural fluidity, incorporating hidden corset boning, precision bias cuts, and structured fabrications built for bespoke client styling. Following the runway shows, the event transitions to an exclusive private ordering exhibition today at The Four Seasons Hotel in Central, providing private clients and media an intimate opportunity to acquire the collection pieces.
