Universal Studios Japan is celebrating its 25th anniversary by mashing up its most popular anime tie-ins with the film franchises that anchor the park, headlined by an ONE PIECE x Jurassic Park crossover and a Detective Conan x Back to the Future pairing. The special goods collection fuses each anime's world with a signature USJ attraction, arriving under the anniversary's "Discover U!!!" banner.

The ONE PIECE design plants the Straw Hats' energy squarely inside the park's dinosaur territory. It depicts Luffy deep in the lush foliage of the Jurassic Park area, turkey leg in hand, cutting loose alongside a towering T-Rex. The result leans into the playful contrast between the anime's adventuring spirit and the attraction's dynamic, primeval setting, letting two very different worlds share one frame.

The Detective Conan entry takes a more cinematic tack. Conan Edogawa and Professor Agasa appear in a design that directly homages the Back to the Future movie poster, a nod that gains extra resonance because Back to the Future returned to the park as part of the 25th-anniversary event "Universal Cars and Stars Collection." It is a crossover pitched at fans who can read both references at once, the kind of generation and franchise-spanning mashup the milestone year is built to enable.

Rounding out the trio is a darker pairing aimed at the park's horror faithful. Junji Ito's celebrated horror manga Tomie is matched with Street Zombie, the emblem of USJ's Halloween Horror Night, bringing a world-renowned name in horror illustration together with the park's signature scare mascot.

The merchandise itself spans everyday carry and collector pieces. Across the three collaborations, the range includes T-shirts, tote bags, stainless bottles, figures and mugs, giving fans of each franchise a mix of wearable and displayable options. Both pairings and their designs draw on long park histories: ONE PIECE has been a marquee USJ summer event since 2007, while Detective Conan, celebrating its TV anime's 30th anniversary this year, has appeared at the park since 2017 with attractions like real-escape-game experiences. Adding to the occasion, USJ says it has received congratulatory messages from original creators Eiichiro Oda and Gosho Aoyama marking the anniversary.
