Olaolu Slawn has officially announced "The Slawn x Rolex Multiverse," a project consisting of 12 one-of-one custom Rolex timepieces co-designed alongside cultural leaders from sports, music, art, and fashion. First reported by Will Lavin, the collection expands on the British-Nigerian artist’s previous hand-painted watch releases with an array of unique collaborative designs.
The 11 confirmed co-creators span a broad cross-section of global street culture and fine art. The roster includes footballers Ronaldinho and Mario Balotelli, rap heavyweights Gunna and Lil Yachty, Corteiz founder Clint419, Fuckthepopulation founder Zac FTP, Japanese graphic designer VERDY, visual artist and photographer Gabriel Moses, artist Cedric Christie, nightlife operator David Grutman, and Nigerian skate collective Motherlan. Two mystery collaborator slots remain unrevealed within the 12-piece lineup.
Revealed via a lo-fi webcam-style video teaser, each timepiece in the capsule features a distinct bespoke aesthetic, ensuring no two models share a design. The drop builds upon Slawn’s 2024 hand-painted Rolex DateJust "Berlin" series, which sold out in four minutes and currently commands high market resale values.
"The Slawn x Rolex Multiverse" project website officially goes live on August 18, 2026, with the 12 one-of-one timepieces releasing individually at separate points throughout August.
