Supreme has officially linked up with celebrated American photographer and film director Larry Clark for a collaborative release. Continuing a creative relationship that spans over 30 years, the new release draws deeply from Clark's influential body of work. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1943, Clark spent 1962 through 1971 photographing his inner circle from an insider’s perspective, pioneering a raw, deeply personal approach to documentary photography. His seminal 1971 photobook, Tulsa, exposed the quotidian violence and self-destruction in everyday American society, going on to heavily inspire subsequent generations of autobiographical photographers - from Nan Goldin to Ryan McGinley - before Clark expanded his artistic realm with Teenage Lust (1983) and his acclaimed directorial debut Kids (1995).
For FW26, Supreme and Larry Clark translate this storied photographic legacy into a focused range of graphic apparel utilizing original imagery from Tulsa alongside new photographs shot exclusively for Supreme. Leading the wearable offerings is a Hooded Varsity Jacket decorated with full-placement archival photography. The drop continues with an eye-catching Sequin Raglan L/S Top and a cozy Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt, while graphic t-shirt options arrive in the form of the Gun Tee and the Neighbor Tee, both highlighting Clark's candid portraiture across core seasonal colorways.
Extending beyond traditional streetwear staples, the capsule incorporates a curated selection of lifestyle goods, skate hardware and printed collectibles decorated with Clark’s imagery. Highlighting the home goods selection is an oversized 42- inch-by-42-inch Bean Bag emblazoned with exclusive photography, serving as a distinct lifestyle statement piece. The collaborative drop is completed by a co-branded Skateboard deck and a 48-page collectible Zine, which comes outfitted with an exclusive poster insert showcasing Clark's visual archive.
The Supreme x Larry Clark collaboration is scheduled for a global release later this week. The capsule will be available online and across physical Supreme chapter locations starting September 3. Fans located in Asia can expect the collection to land in-store and online on September 5.
