PUMA and Scuderia Ferrari HP Weave a Red Thread Through Michael Schumacher’s Legacy

In light of the 30th anniversary of Michael Schumacher’s arrival at Scuderia Ferrari HP, PUMA has reunited with the Formula 1 team to craft a new collection that pays homage to his historic career on the tracks.

The limited-edition drop arrives ahead of the Formula 1 Monza Grand Prix. Considered Scuderia Ferrari HP’s home turf, the range becomes a joint expression of the team and Schumacher, with motorsport styles incorporating iconography and inspired emblems from the iconic racing era.

Exemplifying this design approach is the red racing jacket, which draws from the driver’s race suit with contrasting white stitching, a high collar and the Scuderia Ferrari logo running across each shoulder. Other pieces, including the Replica T-shirt and Replica shirt, feature more direct references to his legacy, weaving the seven stars for each of his Championship wins across the backs.

To elevate the aesthetic of the garments, PUMA also releases a cap with a laurel wreath embroidered on the brim. This drops alongside a pair of red Speedcat Pro and Speedcat sneakers that offer a fitting base to the rest of the collection with their deeply rooted motorsport heritage that has been particularly prevalent in streetwear over the past few years.

Before its public debut on the Formula 1 Monza Grand Prix grid, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc sport the collection in a new campaign. Shot at the team’s garage, the visuals show how Schumacher’s influence lives on in the team today, with each piece celebrating his drive, discipline and commitment to Scuderia Ferrari HP.
